Terms & Conditions

  • Safety & Risks

Some of the workshops will carry a risk of possible injury and even death if careless. The host will make every reasonable effort to keep you from injuring or killing yourself or someone else or be injured or killed by someone. It is your responsibility not to injure yourself or someone else. Pretty much like driving a car, if you know what I mean. Don't do stupid shit and listen to advice. If you do, then all should be okay. If you don't, then a trip to the hospital might be required.

You will receive an email once you've booked a workshop telling you what to bring, and outlining potential safety hazzards and risks. Please don't forget to bring the shit you've been instructed to. This might include stuff like proper fitting gloves, eye protection etc. The reason why, in some cases, you will need to bring your own, is to make sure it fits properly and if provided it might not fit properly, due to your physical size, which could increase the risk of getting injured.

This email will also cover minimum physical capability and health in order to participate in some or all of the activities. If after you've booked your spot you feel that some of the requirements disqualifies you from attending, you will receive a full refund if a you cancel within 48 hours. If you decide to cancel after 48 hours, your request for cancellation will be assessed personally and based on various factors a decision to do a full or partial refund will be made by the host. The decision of the host as to any refunds is final and no further discussions in relation to the matter will be entered into and by booking in the first place you acknowledge that you've read this and that there will be no recourse and that this is part of my Terms & Conditions. This is not me being an asshole, but because there are extremely limited spots for each workshop, if you leave it too long before cancelling, you might have denied someone else the opportunity to attend. Fair enough?

  • Indemnity

You will be required to sign an indemnity form on the day, fully indemnifying me, the host and any other attendees from any claims, injuries or recourse. If you are not prepared to sign it, then don't come. Simple.

  • Payment

When you book your workshop, you will ONLY need to pay a 50% reservation fee online. The balance owed is payable IN CASH, (No Eftpos or EFT) on the day. Please make sure you have the right amount of cash when you arrive.

  • Expulsion

If you do anything that might endanger anyone else, have a bad attitude, maliciously damage property or just being a cunt in general, you will be asked nicely to leave. If you don't, you will be removed. No refunds will be provided and you will be banned from attending any other workshops. At the end of the day, we all want to have a pleasant experience, learn from one another and enjoy the day, so please come with a good attitude.

Other stuff I suggest you read, but it is up to you.
Just know, by booking a workshop
you aknowledge that you've read this stuff as well.

  • Workshop cancellation due to a disaster, really bad weather or an act of the Government (ie fucking lock downs)

Should any of the above result in me being forced to cancel a workshop then the first action taken would be to resqedule any or all affected workshop dates. I will do my best to try and accomodate every person who paid to reserve their spots. If tools, material or equipment has already been purchased for a particular impacted workshop, then an attempt will be made to ship any tools or equipment to you (there might be a shipping cost to you). Any materials purchased will not be shipped to you.

Should you opt to cancel rather than attend at a later date, the Reservation Fee will be refunded less the cost of any Tools and/or Equipment which would have been provided on the day, which will be shipped to you at standard Australia Post rates.

  • Attendee requested cancellations and refunds

If you've booked your reservation before the reservation cutoff date (2 weeks before the date of the workshop) then you can cancel and get a full refund.

If you want to cancel your reservation after the reservation cutoff date (2 weeks before the date of the workshop) but more than 48 hours before the date of the workshop, then you'll receive a partial refund (cost of material, tools or equipment will be deducted if it were included in the price)

Requests for cancellation and refunds within 48 hours of the workshop will be dealt with on a case by case basis. The decision to refund in full or partially will be at the sole discretion of the host and will be final once a decision is reached by the host.
